the past week had been all about meetings and proposals. planning for prefects meeting and exco meeting,writing proposals for sec 1 training and so on. there were a few days i didn't get to slp cause i had to write the proposals,do the admin work because the new sec 1s are coming in as well as to complete my hmwk. it's been a tiring week for me,and a stressful one too.

the very first sec 1 trial training didn't go that well. it was quite screwed up due to the wet weather. there were many last min changes and we quarelled abit as a result also. oh well,i hope everything goes well this week. or maybe i shall put it in another way - i shall make sure everything goes well this week [:

went for the alumni youth wing induction in school last sat. there were me,pei yi,milfred,min hui,yeo mei,jia qi,xiang yu,winston and donavan,of course not forgetting the youth wing people (: yupp,it's actually a ceremony to formally acknowledge that we are in the youth wing now. then there's this ritual which all new members have to do,and that is to drink the "youth wing spirit". it's a concoction of snake water,apple vinegar,chilli sauce and orange squash,and for the guys,a raw egg will be added. it's super disgusting and the cup is the size of a bubble tea cup,moreover it's one full cup and we must finish it. man,i really don't know how to describe the taste of it,and i think with the chilli sauce added,it just makes the whole thing worst. you can literally feel your stomach "burning" after gulping the drink down. come to think of it,i can still taste the drink at the back of my tongue >.< so after the drink,we had bbq dinner. the food was nice but there were still lots of leftovers cause i think they ordered too much food. got to know more ppl in the youth wing and i must say they are all really nice! haha,at first,we were abit anti-social cause we kept playing dai dee but after we got to mix around with the ppl for awhile,things got better =D they taught us how to play a new game called "bridge". it's a poker card game that englishmen play and it's really fun,very thrilling..haha!

i admit i wanted to back out when i was first informed that i'm in the youth wing. it's not that i dislike it or anything of that sort,but the main reason is that i've too many things to handle,and i'm afraid i cannot put any commitment in it. but after thinking about it,i decided to just stay on,cause it's like since the rest of them can do it,i'm sure i can too =) alright,so this decision means another commitment cause we'll be involved in planning events like vistarian idol,vistarian race and so on. i hope this wouldn't affect much of my school work or anything.
