it's been abt more than a week since i last posted. am gonna make this post short cause i gotta go study soon. hmm..last wk i was busy with prefects stuff,setting the new duty list and writing out the monthly reports. we also had our last npcc training before the exams,was kinda sad,hahas. cause cca wud stop for abt a month. am gonna miss np loads =( yupp,end-of year exams are just round the corner,so i wudn't be posting as often. i reli gotta buck-up on my studies,cause my grades reli deprove alot for CA2,so i hv to work doubly hard so as to score good results for end-of year. ok,think i shd stop here..gonna do my revision now. to everyone out there,all the best for end-of year exams,bye! =D

sch re-opens nxt wk. how time flies,the 1 wk sept hols are gonna be over..actually,it's not reli a holiday to me..i went back to sch everyday..mon went for prefect's course. tues had npcc meeting. wed had history lessons and did science proj. thurs went for npcc junior nco course. fri had chinese cultural camp. today went for npcc tree-top walk at macritchie reservoir. yupp,i reach hm everyday at ard 7pm. haiz..i didn't reli rest well,cause i got to wake up at 6.45am-7am everyday to go to sch. oh wells,it's tiring but i'm glad that i hv things to do during the hols,at least it's better than staying at hm =D hmms..the prefect's course was fun..we played quite a few games,but overall,i learnt that leadership is influence. hahas,i rmb that cause the instructor kept emphasizing on this point..den we learnt quite alot of things during the junior nco course too. wanna thank yan ying,bell,li fen,wei wen,leong cheng and auggustine for planning the nco course for us,thanks alot :) as for the tree-top walk,we walked for ard 10.3km..bt it wasn't as tiring as the newpaper big walk,probably because we rested on the way..yeah,thats abt the activities for the wk. it seems like i've mentioned everything except for my hmwk. hehe. i haven't finished them yet..reli gotta wk hard this wkend to complete it..it's stressful,but i think i wk better under stress,lol. anyway,i just got scolded by my mum,haiz..i dunno if it's reli my fault or wad,it seems like everything is my fault =(

yo,i'm back frm the mt ophir trip xD wud say that the trip was a fun one,got to know more new friends..but it was reli tough and tiring.

wednesday (31/8)- went to sch at the normal time..den had the aces day workout. after the workout,we prepared to set off for malaysia. the bus arrived at ard 8.30am and we went up the bus..everyone was kinda tired,so most of us slept during the journey. we reached gunung resort at ard 12.30pm,had our lunch there and den we prepared ourselves to climb mt ophir..to be exact,we only started climbimg at ard 2pm. the climbing was tough,cause the mountain was steep,and there wasn't staircases,as we expected..plus the fact that we had to carry all our belongings,sleeping bags and food rations.. there were also alot of rocks,so we had to use of hands to grab the trees so as to support ourselves in climbing up..we rested along the way and reached checkpoint for at around 5.30pm..it was our base camp..we den pitched out tents there and went to the waterfall to bathe..it was an all new experience to bathe at the waterfall,the water was super cold,it was like ice water..haha,but we had a fun time playing in the water..after bathing,we cooked cup noodles to eat and we were asked to slp at 8am..all of us couldn't get to slp cause it was too early,so we talked until ard 11pm,den we slept..

thursday (1/9)- woke up at 2.30am in the morning,we prepared ourselves and we continued climbing up at 3am..it was reli dark,so we had to use torchlights. we only reach checkpoint 5 at around 5.30am,so we rested there for abt an hr,waiting for daybreak..as we need to use ropes to climb up for some parts of the rest of the journey,so we can't be carrying out torchlights at the same time. yupp,we continued our journey at 6.30am..the rest of the journey was reli challenging..it was the point where most of us wanted to give up. we went into caves,climbed up steep slopes using ropes,went across waterfalls etc. we only managed to reach the summit at around 10.30am and stayed there for 30 mins (we took pictures and ate our breakfast there)..it was kinda cold up there,the temperature there was like that of an air-con,maybe slightly colder than air-con. but there was reli a sense of satisfaction and achievement when we reached the summit. after that, we started to climb down,all the way frm the summit to our base camp where we pitched our tents..climbing down was not easy either,our knee caps hurt..we reached the base camp at ard 1.45pm,had our lunch and packed our stuff. we den set off again at 2.40pm,this time,we had to also carry the garbage along..we reached the bottom of the mountain at 5pm..den,we went to bathe and den put our things in the jungle hut..the jungle hut was reli horrible..cause the ground there was infested with red ants,and den there wasn't any lights in there,only 2 matresses,no fans,nothing..we had our dinner at 7pm,and after dinner,was the debrief..that night,we were allowed to slp early at 9am,cause it was a tiring day..we climbed frm 2.30am-5pm..so all of our muscles were aching..although the management agreed to clear the red ants,we were afraid that there wud still be some around..so the 10 of us (pei yi,priscilla,yeong chyun,tze huan,desmond,iris,jia qi,shi jia,patrick and me) slept in 1 hut..we played silent heart attack until we were tired,den all of us went to slp..it was fun =D

friday (2/9)- today's the last day,and it's the most relaxing day..we woke up at 7am,packed our things and had dinner at 8am. den we were allowed to do some shopping at the nearby stalls..lunch was den served at 11am and we waited for the bus to arrive at 12.30am..actually,mr reduan promised to bring us to malacca to do some shopping..but as there wasn't enough time,he brought us to a nearby town and allowed us to shop for an hr..i bought 2 shirts and some snacks..den we went up the bus at ard 2.45pm..the bus trip was fun,haha..we listened to music on the mp3 and den played some games..yupp,we reached sch at 6am and i went hm..

oh wells,one thing that will make me rmb this trip is the cuts and bruises!! i counted 8 bruises and 8 cuts on my legs as well as 3 cuts on my hands. argh!!! anyways,wud say that this trip made me more determined..cause climbing the mountain was hard,we had to overcome alot of obstacles,and that applies for life too (:
