am so sorry that i haven't been blogging for around a week or so..yupp,hv been reli busy recently. hmmm..i wud be going for the 3 day 2 night mount ophir trip tmr,so wud only be back on fri at ard 5pm..life's been reli stressed,i seriously need a break. i go to sch everyday,feeling so tired and depressed,nobody understands me. i am not coping well..mr ng told our class that he's gonna suspend us frm our ccas if our grades continue to deprove. think he's just being concerned. he also told me that i've been too busy with np and prefects that i do not hv time to concenrate on my studies,yeah,i know that. even my mum's been asking me to quit np,cause she thinks that too much of my time is spent on np..but,i'm not gonna quit,never ever..cause i love np to the core (: den i got scolded by mrs somu also,for the lower sec prefects not doing their duties. my mum has been telling me that if my grades continue to be like this,i wud nt be able to enter university..and she said that i might even drop to normal acad. i dunno if i'm reli slacking or i'm too busy that i dun hv time to do my wk. i reli dunno..just hope that this mt ophir trip wud make me forget all my probs. yupp,wud blog again when i'm back..

whees. am back frm my np ATC (Adventure Training Camp) at pulau ubin..i wudn't say the camp is very tough,bt it sure is tiring..okies,now i wud blog abt the camp..

19th aug (fri)- 1st day of camp..went to sch in the morning to hv lessons until 9.40am,den changed into our PT kits and left sch at 10+..reached changi jetty at ard 11am,we den took the boat to pulau ubin..yupps,we went to a different campsite frm the sec 3s..hmms,cause this camp consists of all the area 7 schs (north vista,punggol,seng kang,compassvale,sjc,holy innocents and serangoon),we were all divided into 10 grps..i'm in grp 1(penguin) and my grp members are..

i love my grp members ALOT..they are reli nice ppl (: after that,we pitched our tents and had our tea break at 3+..first activity for the day was team building games,it was quite fun..gotta know my grp members' names and knew them better. den we had our dinner followed by campfire songs session..we practised all the campfire songs..the session was enjoyable and relaxing..at ard 9.30am,we had gadget making..for our grp,we were supposed to make a noticeboard out of 11 dowel poles and twine..and we did it!!! cheers grp 1 x) hmm..the gadget making ended at ard 10.45am..we den had our debrief and were allowed to go and wash up..the whole camp was only given up till 11.30am to wash up,there wasn't enough time,so all of us didn't bathe..we only changed and brush our teeth..lights out at 12am..my grp had santury duty at 12am-1am,we we only got to slp at 1am..i was reli tired,so i fell asleep very fast,bt i woke up mani times cause there were lots of mosquitos,grasshoppers and spiders..argh!!!

20th aug (sat)- day no. 2..today's the most tiring day..we woke up at ard 5am cause we were suppose to get ready and fall in at 5.45am..was reli tired..we had flag raising followed by PT..wud say that PT was quite tough..we did 125 jumping jacks..plus all the stretching,push-ups etc. den we went for morning run..PT ended at 7.30am and we had our breakfast. after breakfast, we did ATF (Adventure Training Facilities). first,my grp went for rock climbing..its my first time trying rock climbing,hmms..our hands reli need alot of strength in order to reach the top,as we have to push ourselves up..the sad thing is that i didn't manage to reach the top cause my hands weren't strong enough..i didn't wanna give up in the first place bt cause i was hanging up there for very long and that my hands were reli weak,i had no choice bt to come down..nxt was the maze. ok,this one is scary. it's an underground maze..something like a tunnel,where the place is dark and u can't see anything. it was so stuffy inside and we had to find our way out ourselves,also, we weren't allowed to bring torchlights in..the girls were screaming abt,hahas. den we went for low elements..there are many different obstacles..there is a swinging rope were u hv to balance on it and walk across it..den there's swinging log,tension rope,swinging ladder etc. after everything,we had our lunch at ard 12+..nxt activity was land expedition..we hiked around pulau ubin and we saw a wild boar. its locked up in a cage,haha..it's the first time i saw a real wild boar,lol. when we were halfway thru,it rained..so we had to put on our ponchos. i looked so moronic in it..the hike was quite tiring,cause we walked for ard 2+ hrs..we finally reached our campsite at ard 5am..den we were given time to prepare for the campfire night..our grp made the penguin costume for the animal fashion show and practised our grp cheer..dinner was at 6.30am-7am..after that,all of us went to take our things and we proceeded on to the sec 3 campsite for the campfire. we sang a few songs,had the animal fashion show and individual grp cheer..den there was lightning detected and we had to run back to our campsite..haiz..we didn't finish the whole campfire..we were asked to take our bags frm our tents and the grond sheet of the tent and move in to the canteen..same thing as day 1,we only had ard 30 mins to wash up,so we didn't bathe,AGAIN..for the night,we spread our ponchos in the canteen and slept on it..it was freezing cold at night,and i was shivering =X

21th aug (sun)- today's the last day..basically,it's the same as 2nd day..we woke up at 5am and fall in at 5.45am. bt today,everyone was reli tired,can see alot of ppl yawning,haha..early morning we got scolding frm the teacher officers and CIs cause we left things in the toilets..den we had our breakfast at 6.30am-7am..next was area cleaning..our grp cleaned the toilets and later on,we went to help out the other grps to unpitch the tents..after unpitching the tents,we cleaning the ground sheet,inner sheet and outer sheet of the tents..den we kept the tents,packed all our stuff and were all ready to walk to the jetty..we left the place at 10am and reached the jetty at ard 10.45am..it was a long walk,and we sang songs...reli nice (: yupp,den took the boat back to mainland,met the sec 3s and we took the chartered bus back to sch..den me,theresa,mun ting,jess,sera,joyce,hong hui,kenneth,aaron,milfred,kah wai,chong ee and tai hong went to cp kfc to eat..we saw the CIs there..yupp,had lots of fun..reached hm at 2+,unpack my stuff and den bathed..feeling reli tired now,somemore i hv history fieldtrip tmr at 6.30am..yupp,think thats all,hv to go and hv dinner now,bye =D

hey,here to update abt the past few days x)

o9/o8 (tuesday)- it's national day today. i stayed hm to do my coursewk and den watch ndp parade on tv. saw augustine and donavan. hahas =p

1o/o8 (wednesday)- went to watch charlie and the chocolate factory with sophia,crystal,jasmine,seng meng,hao zhi,kang cheng,kenneth,samuel and desmond. yupp,actually cherlyn,eileen,theresa,min hui and jia qi were also watching,bt because we couldn't get the ticket for the earlier show,so they decided nt to watch. hmm..wud say that the show's quite funny,bt not reli nice. wud give it only 3 out of 5 stars.

11/o8 (thursday)- had physical training for the mt ophir trip after sch. it was reli tiring. we cycled at the cycling station for 20 mins. we were suppose to reach 10km by 20 mins,bt i only manage to reach 8.35km,haha,gotta train harder..den we went up and down the stairs 20 times frm 1st floor to the 4th floor. yupp,when i finally finish the 20 sets,my legs were so wobbly and shaky..was reli exhausted by then...

12/o8 (friday)- npcc training today was ok..we took our safety first test,and den had campcraft,games and mass jogging..the games was the best part =) we played captain's ball,it was way fun..

yupp,thats abt all that happened this wk. am going to cherlyn's hse to do lit proj tmr. we haven't started on anything yet and the project's due on nxt tues. we gotta finish everything tmr. oh wells,the upcoming wk is gonna be a busy one. i hv to complete the ppt presentation for attachment and the hall deco for teacher's day is supposed to be completed by nxt wk..den ATC is nxt wk also..hmm,reli gotta wk extra hard xp

today is national day eve. i reached sch at ard 6.50am,den we waited for everyone to reach sch before we went to change and den to take our breakfast..den we fall-in the parade square,ready for the parade. who knows,it started raining and all of us were so disappointed,we took shelter and after awhile,the parade commander told us that the parade was cancelled..our "hopes" were dashed..everyone was in a lousy mood,cause we practiced so hard like 3 times a week for the past month,and in the end,all the hard work went down to the drain just like that. so no choice,we waited outside the hall..we were preparing to walk in. den the rain stopped and the sun came out. we felt so happi when we heard that the parade was going to resume. everyone cheered and we were overjoyed..yupps,bt i hv to say that our marching was not reli good. quite messy though..still needa practice somemore..hmms,den went up to hall for concert..sat with all my npcc mates. reli fun =) we cheered and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly when we sang the 3 national day songs. felt that np was reli united. hahas. den ater that,went for mt ophir trip briefing and took my science test. it was a total nightmare. looks like i hv to prepare to fail the paper..i dunno how to do alot of qns..anyways,i just feel so glad that there's national day hols coming up..feel totally worn out by everything. sometimes,i reli hv the feeling that i dun wanna be an exco in prefects. its just so stressful..i feel that i didn't do my job well as a lower sec coordinator..i can't reach the standard that hamidah set last yr..she's a reli good lower sec coor. moreover,being head of the hall deco for teacher's day committee isn't easy too..i'm just not fit to be one..cause i can't even be present on teacher's day due to the mt ophir trip,where gt head like that one?only do the things for deco and can't even be present on the actual celebration..haiz..just wanna thank all my committee members for coming for every meeting that i ask u guys to come for and for putting in so much effort in doing the deci..i reli appreciate it..i know it has been hard,bt just bare with it kae?cause mrs jenny tan say we gotta finish everything by 20th aug,so there wud be more meetings in order to complete everything..to all hall deco peeps: jia you for everything =D
