this is my last post for yr 2005 cause today's the last day of this yr x)

went to lot 1 shoppers mall with my mum and sisters today to shop for some new yr clothes..mum got me a billabong top and an op skirt..besides that,also bought another top and skirt to wear to my cousin's wedding dinner,which is tmr..hehe..maybe going to bugis or heeren on monday to shop for some more clothes,yeah!!! so happy!!! anyway,thanks mum =)

alrights..this week,i've been having cca fair meeting cause i'm in the cca fair committee for np..there are alot of things to do,and there's not enough time already,so we really gotta rush for all the souvenirs and stuff..den there's campcraft training as usual..yst was the 19th training we had during the hols..yupps,it was the last training for the yr 2005 and it was also the last time our graduated seniors are coming back to help us..cause when sch re-opens,some of them hv to go poly or jc while others gotta work..so i really wanna thank them for their help,they always made an effort to come and train us as long as we hv training..and also helped us to think of the structure of the shelter as well as the gadget,thanks alot seniors (:

i also attended the pre-camp for sec 1 orientation on 28th and 29th. we reported to sch at 7.30am..den ms loo briefed us abt the camp and we went for our 2km run as usual..after that was ice breakers..we were made to rmb all the names of the student leaders..den we played another game-jigga transporter..that one is a station game..the people in the 1st station gotta transport 1 puzzle piece at a time to the 2nd station using 2 sheets of paper..without letting his/her legs touch the ground..in the second station,the person is suppose to stand on the chair and do FISHING!!! hahas. i love this part..the "fishing rod" is actually a floorball stick attached to a wooden block using a string..den there's a piece of sticky tape at the wooden block so that the piece of puzzle could stick on it..after the person got the puzzle piece,he/she wud bring it to the 3rd station whereby 1 person wud be blindfolded to walk thru an obstacle to bring the piece of puzzle to the 4th station..the people at the 4th station wud den piece all the puzzle pieces together to form a puzzle..first grp that is finished wins. we played the game 3 times and my grp got 2nd for the first time and 1st for the second and third time..yeah!!! the loser grp gotta use their butts to write the word "student leader". lols. after that is the trust walk. we had to blindfold ourself and the teachers wud bring us walk ard the sch to overcome the obstacles..oh wells,this game is kinda boring. nxt is the learning of the NV mass dance,den lunch. after lunch was the canopy walk at macritchie..we walked for 11km in 3 hrs,and on the actual day of the orientation,the sec 1s got 4 hrs to complete 5-6km..so lucky,hahas =) came back frm the walk,all sweaty and smelly..practiced our stomp performance until 7.30pm,and had our dinner..at 8.15pm,we run thru the whole campfire..was only allowed to bathe at 10pm..after bath was supper and den lights off at 11.40pm..i didn't really slp well though,woke up a few times thruout the night,and it was freezing cold in the classrooms,even after we turned off all the fans,lol. ok..nxt day,woke up at 5+am..went to wash up and we had breakfast at 7.30am..after breakfast we played 2 games-spider web and egg drop..for the spider web game,we hv to transport all grp members across the spider web without letting any part of the body touch the strings..and for the egg drop,we're suppose to use newspaper,raffia string and 30cm scotch tape to protect the egg..den we dropped it down frm 2nd floor..if the egg didn't break,the grp wud proceed on to drop the egg frm the 3rd floor..i played this game for so many times already..hahas..after that we practiced our stomp performance agn and den went to lecture room to pack the orientation package..the whole camp ended at 1+pm..was given our t-shirt which was the same as the sec 1s..just that ours is white in colour..oh ya,i'll be in-charge of 1e1'06 together with ethel and jasmine..am looking forward to it =D

now,i'll do my reflections for this whole yr of 2005..

life in npcc hv been very fun,i enjoy the company of my np mates,and we're more bonded together now since we've already spent 2 yrs together..got to know each other better,sec 2 squad'05 rawks (:

for prefects,went on an attachment to st. nicholas..learnt alot of things there..also,there are more responsibilities and i gotta learn how to handle them,it's hard..but it's all abt learning how to cope..hehe..

as for studies,i know that my grades hv dropped..so i really gotta buck up in 2006..i didn't choose triple science although i qualified for it,cause i feel that i can't cope..chose double science instead..i hope i made the right choice. wud be in sec 3e2 nxt yr..hope that nxt yr's class is gonna be a fun one..

attended 5 camps this yr..outward bound (obs), adventure training camp (atc), sec 1 npcc camp,prefects camp and sec 1 orientation pre-camp..also went for the mt ophir trip..thru out all these camps,i've had alot of fun and experienced alot of things..got to make new friends too ^^

ok,i've talked a whole lot abt 2005..now comes my new yr resoultions for 2006.
1) i hope to study hard and do well in my exams
2) learn how to manage my time better
3) cope better between studies,npcc and prefects
4) try and look on the positive side of things (:
5) not to affect the mood of people ard me even when i'm sad or not in a good mood
6) not to neglect my friends and family even though i'm busy..try and spend more time with them.
7) change my temper. i know i'm hot-tempered.

yupps,so thats all abt my resoultions..really hope that i can do all these 7 things that i've listed. i wud try my best to do it. ok,wud end here..wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YR!!! may yr 2006 be a great yr for all of us =)

played mapleSEA just now. i went to happyville!!! booked a room to decorate my own christmas tree,the christmas ornaments were sooooo cute,i wanna buy all of them,but inventory no space,hahas.

okies,to those ppl who sent me christmas greetings or wished me a merry christmas,thanks alot =) and to everyone out there..here's wishing all of you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

oh wells. i finally can find time to update my blog,sorry guys..i know i haven't been updating it for 2wks plus going 3 wks. alrights,would write abt wad happen in the past 2 wks..

5/12-11/12: had excos meeting..discussed abt the events for nxt yr,new exco structure and lots of stuffs. den there was campcraft training frm mon to thurs..not to forget the 1e1 chalet which was on 7/12-8/12. it was really fun,we had bbq and i was frying potato nuggets,seaweed chicken,sotong balls and french fries in the kitchen. although i didn't get to eat much,bt it's ok. u get a sense of satisfaction when u cook for ppl,and see them enjoy eating it (: after that,all of us played water bombs,and we made sure EVERYONE was wet. yan kang was even pulled out of the rm,and all of us threw water bombs at him,he was the last person to get wet,wad an honour,hahas. after that,all of us went to bathe and mr ng brought us out for night walk. we walked frm aloha resort all the way to pasir ris park,and when we reached there,it started to pour. so we ran to downtown east to seek for shelter. it was around 2am. and the guys bought mac to eat,lols. den we waited till around 3+am bt the rain did not stop,so we had no choice bt to run back to the resort in the rain,it was freezing cold. by the time we reach the resort,it was already 4am. some of us went to slp,others watched soccer match on the tv and some played truth or dare. yupps,it was a fun night. bt the nxt morning,everyone was tired. all of us didn't get enough slp. haha,den at ard 9+am,theresa,milfred,kenneth,kah wai and me took a cab to sch for campcraft training. yupps,really love 1e1'04. hope that nxt yr's gathering wud be a fun one too =D besides all these,also had npcc banner painting,npcc cca carnival meeting. yupps,den had dance practice also,cause i was asked to dance during the np dinner and dance. think i'm really gonna make a fool out of myself cause i suck at dancing,hahas.

12/12-18/12- campcraft training on everyday this week. frm 8am-5pm,really tiring. it's like a routine. morning wake up at 6.30am,bathe,go sch for campcraft until 5pm,go home,bathe,eat dinner,watch tv and den slp. also had dance practice. the ppl dancing are huda,chong ee,kah wai,milfred,tai hong and me. huda came out with the steps and it was hip hop dance. gosh,it took me so long to master the steps. and believe it or not,we practied on sat 11am-9pm and only learnt 1 min of the dance,it was so pathetic. so for the whole wkend of this wk,we were practising this dance.

19/12- campcraft training as usual,bt it was a short one,frm 8am-12pm. after that,we practised our dance until 6pm and i went for a maths tuition until 8pm.

20/12- student leadership training in the morning. ran 2km and did some stretching. after that,we proceeded to think of ideas for the stomp performance. also,we got the meet the sec 1 orientation committee. yupps,i left early,for dance practice,again. hahas. we practiced frm 11am-5pm,den we got ready for dinner and dance. it was held in the lecture theatre,started at 6.30pm. overall,wud say that the whole thing was quite successful. the graduated sec 4s,present sec 4s,sec 3s and sec 2s came for the dinner and dance. there was performance put up by the sec 3s and 2s. for the sec 2s,we did the hip hop dance,it was so embaressing,lol. cause i really cannot dance well. after that,we had buffet,and the food was nice =D there was also lucky draw and games. lastly,it comes to the dancing part,where everyone were asked to come to the front to DANCE. hahas,it was really fun. the atmosphere was good,cause the lights were off and there were colourful lights,sort of like a disco. all of us held hands and dance together. after the dance,we watched a video,which was a tribute to our sec 4 seniors who wud be leaving the sch. hmm,it was kinda sad,sec 4s are leaving us,bt we will always rmb u all =) the whole thing ended at 10.30pm and dad came to fetch me hm,thanks dad (:

oh wells,my life's revolving ard npcc. i meet up with my np mates almost everyday during the hols,even wkends. my mum had asked me to quit cause she thinks i spend to much time on npcc. bt i will never quit (: i enjoy the times spent together with my np mates,they are really great ppl.

hmmm,time really flies. there are only 2 wks of the hols left. i haven't started on my holiday hmwk yet,argh!!! gonna find 1 day when i hv nth on to stay at hm to rest and finish all the hmwk. yupps,thats abt it. gonna bathe now,campcraft training is at 1pm today,so bye ppl. take care eveyone x)

just came back frm a maths tuition. its the first lesson today and it's quite ok. yupps,anyway,i'm feeling very sad now. my dad told me in the morning that my cousin jaime jie is hospitalised. she got burnt in a gas explosion. according to my aunt,she was at home and was gonna cook sth..so she turn on the fire and went to the toilet after that,not knowing that the stove did not light up. just as she came out frm the toilet,the gas cylinder exploded and she got burnt. my aunt said that the doctor classified it as a second degree burn,so it's quite serious. i love her alot,and really hope that she is fine,am so worried for her =( somemore she's my closest cousin. i always share my problems with her..jaime jie,get well soon!!!

it's been a busy week for me. monday morning i met min hui,jia qi,priscilla,pei yi,juliana,eileen,cherlyn,jasmine chi,juvenal,samuel,desmond,seng meng,sera,crystal and jillson at compass today. we went there to celebrate juvenal's bdae- bought her a cake and a bag =) after that,all of us went to sentosa except for jillson. yupps,it was fun there. we stayed there until ard 6.30pm and then took the shuttle bus to harbour front centre to hv dinner. actually,i was supposed to go wild wild wet with juvenal,eileen and su shan but we went to sentosa in the end. cancelled the meeting with su shan. to su shan-we're really really sorry for cancelling the meeting. we know u're affected by this,and is very angry. sorry that we didn't care abt how u felt. it's our fault. den on tuesday and wednesday,i went to sch for np campcraft training. it was tough. now,my hands hv 5 blisters and one finger swollen. it's due to the pegging that we've been doing. really hope to get into the team,but it's gonna be difficult. we also had the farewell party for sec 4 prefects on tuesday night. it was frm 5.30pm-8pm. all the prefects who went had dinner in the canteen and den there was the certificate presentation for the sec 4s. yupps. prefects camp was frm thurs to sat,which is today. i just came back frm camp. the camp was a success,at least all our hard work of organising the camp did not go dwn the drain,the prefects enjoyed it. yay!!! came to realise that it was not easy to organise a camp,it's very tiring. u hv to do all the cleaning up after everyone played all the games,and do all the behind-the-seen stuffs. was not feeling well yst night durng the camp,think it's because of lack of slp. was hving headache,but i'm ok now =) oh,by the way,if i dun update my blog that often these few days,it's because i'm busy. am gonna hv campcraft training on almost everyday for the whole month of december,and it's for long hrs,like 1pm-5pm,8am-5pm and 8am-1pm. den there's student leader's traing. one more thing,1e1 chalet is nxt week!!! i'm so excited,yeah!!! been waiting for this class gathering for very long. am looking forward to it (:
